A father-son team with a passion for pigeonsport
We are Rico & Johnny Kampert from Ederveen (section 8), together we participating under the name R.M.C. Kampert. Our focus is on the long distance and, for the past few years, also on youngsters. Our goal is to achieve excellent results in these two disciplines.
Our pride: ‘Hector’
Top performance and proven breeding power
Our foundation cock ‘Hector’ was born from the pairing ‘Mr. Casanova’ x ‘Minerva’. He won a.o. 1st National Chateauroux against 7,541 pigeons and 2nd NPO Vierzon against 3,768 pigeons. In addition, his (grand)children have already won 10x top 10 NPO prizes, including 1st NPO Hirson against 4,270 pigeons.

The structure of our strain
Progress through crossings and breeding from selected pigeons/lines
Our strain has been developed from direct pigeons of Ad Schaerlaeckens, crossed with other top racers and pigeons of outstanding lineage. Our first connection with Ad began in 2020 through a pigeon(voucher) auction, which laid the foundation for several top performers, including ‘Hector’. In the winter of 2024–2025, we strengthened our strain with four exceptional pigeons from Ruud & Dolf Bakker, all representing the very best of their loft.

Rico’s love for pigeons goes far beyond a hobby
What began as a hobby in pigeon racing has now grown even further: since September 2024, Rico has also been working at auction site EPA. In this way, his passion and his profession meet in a very special way.
